"We are very pleased that such a substantial manufacturer should have so much confidence in our ability to provide a state of the art system on time and on budget," said Jeff McLaughlin, owner of the McLaughlin Furnace Group. "This is a real milestone for our company and reinforces the fact that McLaughlin Furnace Group has grown to be one of the largest and most diversified in the North American furnace manufacturing industry."
McLaughlin says the project has been going smoothly and faster than expected, and the furnace will be installed and running by the beginning of 2020.
Currently, McLaughlin Furnace Group is working on moving into a new 47,500 square-foot building, and preparing to reveal some new equipment and product lines. McLaughlin’s Product U, is designed to create products that fit exact client wants and needs.
Along with the building expansion, McLaughlin Furnace Group has a new controls engineer and two new mechanical engineers to help expand the company and continue to provide outstanding customer service.
Vesco, the vacuum division of McLaughlin Furnace Group is also hiring new positions including mechanical engineers, field service technicians, and in-house vacuum pump technicians.
Jeff McLaughlin was recently featured on a list of the top 25 most influential people in the North American heat treat business. Since he first started in heat treating and welding, McLaughlin has always had the goal to revolutionize the industry. This ambition has led to his company growing rapidly over the past few years until it has become a recognized name all around North America.
Not only is McLaughlin focused on expanding his company and changing the way things are done—he’s ready to put out a friendly challenge to his competitors. A TV show-format where McLaughlin and other builders could participate in a build-off to see which product is more innovative and satisfies the customer more would be a fun way to stir things up, but until then, McLaughlin Furnace Group will just continue on, breaking new ground.
