How We Control Quality at McLaughlin

As a rapidly growing full-service furnace manufacturer, McLaughlin Furnace Group prides itself on being a convenient one-stop shop for both custom heat-treating equipment and maintenance services. Although the name may suggest otherwise, McLaughlin’s equipment and abilities go way beyond “just" furnaces. 
 
McLaughlin has a machine center in-house and is equipped to machine a majority of the company’s components—the primary product being burners. The machine center has given the company a powerful competitive edge and driven exponential growth since 2007. As a result of the in-house capabilities, McLaughlin is able to tightly control quality from start to finish as everything is custom made and not sent out to other manufacturers. 

Capabilities

The machine center gives McLaughlin a wide array of additional in-house capabilities, including the impressive ability to make all kinds of custom parts, even for retro fits. McLaughlin's machining center includes the powerful Mazak Nexus 6KW Fiber Laser, the 5 Axis CNC Mill, and the Dual-Spindle Lathe.
 
Several years ago, McLaughlin began to develop their own natural gas burners and machining them all in-house. There are already a lot of McLaughlin-made natural gas burners out in the field. Even though McLaughlin has been putting their own burners on equipment for awhile now, they are just now getting into mass production, creating a brand new model at the end of last year. 
 
McLaughlin can make and retro-fit burners used on generators, washers, and direct and indirect fire temper furnaces, or sell them alone as needed. Other specialty products made in-house include the orifice metering flanges and McLaughlin package burner.
